Has anyone ever heard a rumor that was not believed to be true? We receive many of these rumors through text messaging, emails, and other electronic ways of communicating.
The following are some of the rumors that many of us may have heard. Take a moment to read them and answer true or false.

2) Those who swim less than an hour after eating will catch cramps in the pool.
3) Hair grows back thicker and darker after shaving.
4) Mobile homes got their names from having the ability to move from place to place.

6) Chocolate causes acne.
7) Gang members drive with their lights on bright and anyone that flashes them will be chased and killed.
8) The name brand jello is made of bones and hides.
9) Violin strings are made of horse hair.
10) Batteries last longer if stored in a freezer.

· Scotland- Haggis is a Scottish meal made of sheep organs such as the liver, heart, and intestines. The sheep’s stomach and windpipe are also included.
· China- Bread is conditioned in human hair.
· Sardinia- Sardinian cheese is served with insect larva and is called maggot cheese. It is very popular in Sardinia.
· Africa - Criadillas are bull testicles. They are served grilled, boiled, or roasted.
· China- Donkey Penis is served in china. It is served boiled or fried and then chopped like salami.
· Africa- Sheep and cow intestines are served in Africa. They are barbecued and served with aloe and cactus.
· China- dog penis garnished with a plum is served in China.
· Thailand- insects called rice bugs are served in Thailand. They are huge insects that are 4 to 6 inches long and look like giant roaches. They fly around outdoor lamps just like moths. Humans pop the heads off of the insects and suck the rice out of them; they do not eat the insect.
· Korea- baby mice wine is popular in Korea. It contains mice that are stuffed alive into jars full of wine and stored.

· In Puerto Rico, people wiggle their nose to say “what’s going on?”
· In Jamaica, people suck air through their teeth to say “give me a break.”
· In China, people scrape their faces with one finger to say “shame on you.”
· In Greece, sticking ones hand out as if saying “no more please, I am full”, means “no more, because I am too busy rubbing handfuls of ^&$^#& in your face.”
· The “T“ in American Sign Language actually means “F*** you” or “good luck in fertility” in other countries.
